Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) is designed to improve the air quality of a home or building without allowing any undue heat loss. Stale air is replaced with fresh air to ensure every room remains a healthy environment for its occupants. The air extracted goes through a heat exchanger which allows its heat to be retained and used to warm the fresh air that is pumped inside. This efficient form of ventilation uses far less energy than conventional air conditioning.
